LONG-TERM OPERATIONS

Overview

MEL'S DOWNTOWN CREAMERY

The whole operation,
over time.

Every shift count becomes a searchable record. Compare dates, trace individual products, inspect front versus deep-freezer stock, and review cash—without treating inventory movement as sales.

PATTERN WORKBENCH

See the archive as a system.

These are recorded patterns—not assumed sales. Restocks, deliveries, waste, transfers, and corrections can all change a count.

OPTIONAL COST LAYER

Add cost context without inventing revenue.

Direct-sale items can use POS price. Ingredients and supplies show wholesale usage cost only. All estimates remain visibly labeled.

ARCHIVE CONTROL

Your folder stays the permanent record.

The site reads CSVs on this device and keeps a fast local index. Hundreds of small CSVs use very little space; the browser has no application-level file-count cap.

IMPORT NOTES

How folder access works

  1. Save every dated CSV export in one Mel's folder.
  2. Choose that folder here. Subfolders are included.
  3. Use refresh after adding new files. Supported browsers can remember the folder permission.
  4. If folder access is unavailable, choose many CSV files at once instead.

INVENTORY ARCHIVE

Bring in the whole folder.

Choose the folder where dated CSV exports are saved. The active archive becomes exactly the CSVs in that folder and its subfolders—nothing invented, nothing carried over. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Ready. There is no application file-count cap.
